I guess this is a dedication of sorts, some poets I go to their pages and they haven’t posted in a while, and I happened to see David comment and saw he is still around, so I wrote this tongue and cheek, as a compliment to someone who has always encouraged others with comments, and thus been an inspiration. I really recommend any who hasn’t to read the poem “A Father's Love Prayer” as that one poem for me sums up the essence of who a person is. So I hope this makes you smile David, and we look forward to more poems soon!!!! Cheers

Light, fun poem! David is certainly one of the best on Soup; I get on very well with him. He does take time to entertain us with new poems, but when he does post, it's always a pleasure to read. All the best Arthur! // paul

this is a sweet tribute, Arthur. Yes, you are right. He has a beautiful soul, and what you said about a father's love prayer.I'm sure I read it. I have read all his stuff. He needs to do more!!

Love your witty poem for one of the respected and great poets of Poetry Soup. Low-profile poet who writes of sensitive subject with such delicacy of feeling, is caring, always a kind word or two, a friend. Good one, Arthur!

My hope is that some day PS writers can come together to celebrate life and words. To gather together, read each other works, listen to the stories behind each poem, each individual. I feel that I know so many of you all. Till we meet in person, continue to write my dear friend -- let your heart soar and fill us with tales of your imagination! Much love and a big Man Hug!!

Well, you have made me smile indeed!! Big toothy grin from ear to ear! You are such a great friend to me and to many many people here! Your pen is fun, passionate, flirty, uplifting -- filled with merriment and laughter! Whenever I read your poems, I ready to fill a pint and enjoy your words -- they are filled with love and wisdom! I have not posted much, so many great poems here to camp out and read. I like reading as much as writing.
