Dating Dysfunction

When dating
pay rapt attention
to your intuition

I did:

For self-preservation
in relation
to emotional creation

When he made it clear
that his ex is his BFF
I exited the scene
to be released
from negative energy

Wonderful poem, Holly. I agree with Chris' comment, you made the right decision. If my daughter was old enough to date (I thank God she's not! lol) I would read this to her.

Nice move, you made the right decision and did so in such a great poetic way. I get this meaning clearly and actually chuckled a bit, not at your poem but at myself. Nice to see you again Holly.

Great advice that shows healthy self-esteem. I wish everyone of dating age had such a positive dose of self respect. Enjoyed it, Holly ... CayCay

It was a long hard battle to get this self esteem. Anyone can who learns to love themselves. Thanks CayCay
