As I gaze upward searching the amazing Universe in the darkness of the night.
I can feel the summer heat ascending, reaching the firmament and leaving an opaque covering over the phase of the full moon. Beams of soft lights reflect in my eyes as a delightful experience. And yet a gruesome finding hiding in the shadows. My eyes trace an outline of an oval monolith imagery standing as a pillar in a museum. Frightened yet annoying by awful vibrations traveling through the air towards me. I become shaken and a grim feeling overshadows me. I give a long, loud, piercing cry, as this vicious darkness will not withdraw from me. An unexpected prelude, a source of illumination stimulates my sight, making things visible. Dawn piercing through an opening of dimness and gloom reveals the fall of darkness demise. Vindictive fear of my own consciousness had been crushed by the light of day. As I patronize my aged notions I feel a deep sense of pride at the victorious achievement for overcoming the darkness. The mystery of the dark has exposed its secret counterfeit of shadows. Rays of light kiss my cheek with warmth. I now stand fortunate to have faced the darkness and live in the light.
