Darkness Sheds Light

Is it a metaphor for how time flows?
an unshakable sense of expectancy
the metamorphosis breeze through
unerringly advance
unhampered and untethered
the sun is the same
the light is in the darkness
If you require light, stay near the drapes
look at the peculiar gem in the bezel.
