Darkness Under the stars lies forgiveness Rotten roots and falling peaces I want to be the rose Wasted again Heart and pulse, nothing to lose You are there Raven Only Because I was waking up I am the rain I do it for you Spilling my ink Me on the inside Walking away, yet bound to you You own me That’s why I love, Oh I miss you Beautiful scars and little wishes Do you wanna know, as damaged as you are There is no good in goodbye Ride this train where rumors whispered Whiskey flowers and fields of gold I am nothing now Blindfolded In the depths of death A writer’s grave Note: This is based on something I will leave people to guess for now! Hint: I composed the poem yet I did not write the words to the poem. Answer: All the lines and the title of the poem are from the Titles of Casarah Nance's poems!!!!

It is not important that we manage to understand all that lies within the poet's mind; what I know for sure is that I am captivated by the dark mist that envelopes these lines...like a certain poet wrote: "Death comes by night to sing". ~ Regards // paul

Gosh, I don't even know what your last line means, That you composed this but did not write it. How will I figure out anything else? All I know is THIS: This is a great poem because the imagery is outstanding. It just feels like a really cool poem to me. It is one of your best, Arthur, and I don't even care if I know its full meaning! (by the way, does Casarah have something to do with all this. i just read your big hint down by her comment. As usual, I did not get it. hahaha0

To me this poem speaks of Christ's crucifixion and his longing to save mankind from their own ignorance.

Edgar Allen Poe was engaged to Sarah Elmira Royster at age 18, but her father did not approve of their relationship and broke it off . Could that be the lost love? The Annabel Lee? Simply stunning poem my friend.... Depth and imagery flavor deeply the mystery! OR IS IT --LOST YOUTH--THE LOVE OF PROMISES YET TO COME?

Ah very good indeed!!! Poe and the Raven do fit into this, and it may turn out that your answer is correct, although there is a twist to this! :)

What keeps back into my mind is books. The owning me got me thinking. Maybe computer or phone but maybe books. Knowing you I am most likely off base.

Well it is dark, that was the theme, and very much inspired by Poe, the idea for this poem was born from writes in his style.

I understand, Arthur. Sometimes we live and die for our love/lover. It's beautiful and yet sad. Wonderful poem.
