Darkness

Deadly acts of genocide
where was life
now only rubble and dust
the sky a silent witness
to horrible crimes
a mothers tears
a child wrapped
in white cloth of shrouds
hearts that can no longer cry
we sit helpless
waiting to die

Powerful and heartbreaking — the imagery of rubble, shrouds, and a silent sky really drives home the weight of loss and helplessness.

I appreciate what you're saying as it is indeed a genocide taking place. It's not going unnoticed by many of us. I am saddened at how long this has gone on.

This touched my heart. It's so awful that we can't even begin to understand that magnitude of suffering. Thank you for speaking up.

Such a pity. Man's obsession with killing.

Yes, bombs don't discriminate. Isn't it strange, the people bombing other countries are all practically geriatric. Why are we letting this happen.
