Dark Swells of Lies
Trapped in the darkness with swells of lies
Swirling from the mouths of others
Those trying to rule things in my life
Years of speaking, grasping for the truth
The light to shine my way on this path
Through the full thickness of time
With unanswered questions lingering
Answers I deserve, answers I must find
Fighting to integrate memories from the past
To make more sense of this moment today
Time has a way of haunting, merging things
That violently strike the heart, stir the soul,
Changing the course, of my inner being
Traveling through fallen tears in the dark
