Slam a door in my face, build up your walls Shut out the light struggling to inch through the cracks Still you fill it with glue, binding together what remains Of your broken surroundings, your crumbling dwelling If only you would let me in, and turn toward the glow Sometimes the light is the least of your problems Not that you would ever know
