Dark Embrace

Darkness comes to hold me in it's warm yet cool embrace
Envelopes me so that my fear can hide
Shadows mask my emotion and my face
No need to look no one at my side
Nights loving embrace

Calm gentle darkness I welcome it's presence.
Pain still raw which darkness can't lessen
But for precious moments it gives that peaceful essence
These hours are my simple blessen
While darkness numbs no reminesence

Dawn returning as darkness recedes
The world comes back to life
Each moment it comes closer harder it is to breathe
A day filled with chaotic strife
Dawn awakens darkness leaves
