The monk parakeet, decked out in lime green, In communal nests they can oft be seen. To raise kids, they don't depend on granny. Instead, they hire a helper or nanny.

okay, have to ask...where are you getting these drawings? Am I correct is surmising they're your creations? They're fabulous.

Thanks Sara! I'm glad you asked. They're my colored pencil drawings from photos I found on the Internet. I had the drawings and poems put on cups (way too many) and sent to my son for Christmas. They got a chuckle out of it.
