Ah, I remember those smashing
days when I was dancing till dawn!
Refusing to be a workforce pawn.

It left no lines, but painted a smile on my face!
I enjoyed the joy, the people-peppered life.
Marvelously, frenzied, frenetic pace.

Being wild,did agree with me.
Life, for me, was so far, far more wondrous,
Than a posh, expensive, one- time cruise at sea.

Confetti-like, touching , steamy romances.
Meeting eccentric people from all nations
Learning, international, amazing dances.

Most people's lives follow a boring straight line.
Mine was and still is an escalating spiral path
Of colored, metallic, ribbons rising to the sky.

Nothing about it was ever dull norever orthodox.
I cherished each hour never did I once.
Run my life by societal rules or the face of a clock!

Full of international sounds andjoyous souls.
What a great life God has given gave me!
Now these joyous times with pen,I can transpose!

A free soul,I am till the day that Iexpire.
But perhaps~God might send me a spare tire?

A few more Bossa Nova years to
be with you.
In harmony and rhythm, just more
Samba and going to Rio!

Super fun poem and thanks for some more insights into your lively life. I'm a fan of differences and making your own rules. Way to go! Whenever someone looks at differences with a sideways glance, you instantly know they're jealous of real life.

Thats only half of my life. )))) people really dislike you if you think for yourself, even in poetry of all things…you get avoided . But if you write brain dead pioetry.. you are lauded, my point being dont make waves, you won’t get read, also not watching the SOTU speech. More lies from Clowns. Be whoever you are. Never please the masses! Please be yourself..then, life is glorious! Sambista Pangie

Hello, Darlene! Thank you for Faving this. True, my life was exciting. As I am not one to follow rules and be like everyone else or march to their drummers. In that way, I led my own life, but I did find leaders who set patterns for me, to grow to be strong and make a difference in people’s lives. I hope you are not tired today, but I am. Lol. Don’t want to watch our President lie to the nation tonight but he will. He never takes responsibility for the havoc going on in. Here. Its disgusting. Going to nap. Pangie

My favorite phrasing: "escalating spiral path Of colored, metallic, ribbons rising" - wow. Here's to Rio! :)

Regina! Good morning,I celebrate having you in my life! You rate as oneof the most caring peope I have ever met. Ad you are very humble. A quallity that seems rare in a world of raging egos where winning is the only thing. And being right and making othe4s wrong , gets worse by the day. Full of life is quite accurate. I am fully expressive that causes some fun! Thank you.Pangie

Dear Pangie, This is a wonderful celebration of life's exuberance and the joy found in embracing spontaneity. Your poetic words dance with energy and freedom, inviting me to relish in the colorful garden of experiences you've planted. Pangie, your spirit shines through each line, reflecting a life lived on your own terms, unbound by societal conventions. May your days continue to be filled with the rhythm of joy and the melody of adventure. Cheers to more Bossa Nova years and Samba rhythms! - Blessings, Daniel

Hi Daniel! Life is quite heady at times amd I say, so what! A miracle is always Miracle is always around the corner! I love pushing the envelope, going down a zip line and daring bullies to get me, I love to see losers in the heady place of believing they are winners? I truly had an exuberant life and the bossa beat keeps on! No room for any insults! How small one has to be to hurt another! Your Dancing Sambista, Pangie
