Dancers In Blue

Delicate angels in blue chiffon
With elongated necks, wishful as a swan
Laced up toes of silky pearl
Gathering together for a whirl
All eyes on the ballerinas in motion
Purely, vividly perfumed in a potion
With long bound brunette hair
Poised with ivory skin so fair
Spiral threads in a timberland of aquamarine
In a fluent, feminine picturesque scene

To me, it has the feel of discipline and order, which are definitely a necessary characteristic of every ballet dancer. Congratulations on your success in Brian Strands Picture Poem contest. PS It also brought back fond memories of my daughters dance recitals.
