Dance of the Universe

The misty white light
Piercing my window
Could have been a divine sign
Or just an ordinary second
Of happiness
I've been told
That I'll never be able
To recognise it
Dressed like that

The calm sea
Used to bathe the gulls
In living foam
The blue-eyed warm wind
Carrying away
Tears of lost lovers

I'm still so small
For a heaven so great
Just a frail child
Learning the first steps
In the dance
Of the universe

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Have a blessed New Year.

My dear, a beautiful poem expressing the unseen, the universal psyche. No, we are not small when we are touched by that light, for we are part of it. If you have time look my poems: KNOW THY SELF, MY LIBERATOR and CREATION to see what I mean. Thank you!
