Dampened Dreams - For Contest

Dampened Dreams


Beauty wrapped in sadness
Hot tears fresh taste
Cooling pools of despair’s
Harsh salted lie
Blur the vision of love
No longer chaste
In dim streetlights envy
Faded dreams dry!
