Damaged Goods

Damaged Goods

"Why would someone be considered
Damaged Goods"?

At the hands of a trusted bosom
Friend?

Once cracked even the innocence
looks guilty.

I still wake up with wounds I've
Weathered.

I continue to feel the pain up and
down my back but I was convinced
there was no knife.

Your damages may not be appealing,
But it made you incomparable.

Healing day by day ready to face this
World another day without carrying
excess baggage upon my shoulders.

Through the nights one's thoughts
wander and roam.

Let go of bad memories because
Our damaged goods shows us our
Life has significance.
