Notes About The Poem

Daisy Forever In Our Hearts

Daisy

My memories of you.

The loving licks on our face,
were cherished moments we
embraced.

A friend in you, I could
always trust, just you
and I, the two of us.

I remember our walks
in the park, and the
birds you chased,
Oh, how you barked!

The baths I gave you
to keep you clean, but
you loved dirty puddles
more, it would seem.

What you would do
for a tasty treat, was
raise your paw, and
shake for me.

You always laid so close to
me, and I loved patting you
tirelessly.

You, leaving us brings us
so much pain, and our tears
flow like torrential rain.

You were in our lives
for a little while, and
it was your affection that
brought warm smiles.

When I think of you I
will reminisce, of the love
I had, and now I miss.

A love so Dear that
overwhelms, that fills our
hearts and has no bounds.

On Angel's Wings you
journeyed on, and found
yourself in Our Lord's arms.

 We Love you Daisy...

Our Beloved Maria and Ron and family
are grieving the loss of their dog
Daisy who passed away Wednesday.
It was Maria and Ron's daughters
beloved dog Daisy.
Please pray for healing for the family.
Your supportive comments would be
appreciated for the family. Rest in
our Lords arms Daisy...

A befallen grace on Maria and Ron’s daughter’s heart for the parting of her pet, Daisy. Comfort her in the following days, and soothe her young life in other ways that she’ll understand. Commune with her about how life goes on, not only herself, but for Daisy as well. Constant joy and love everlasting, my dearest little one. Heaven's happiness and hoping you that all is well, Michael. Aloha from Hawaii, blessings always ~ William

Michael, Even though time has passed I know there is still a hole for Maria, Ron and family without their beloved Daisy. Almost two years ago we lost Paddy and even though we now have an irascible Irish imp named Mulligan, we still miss our Paddy. I wrote a poem on losing Paddy. Interview With the Irish Wind. Hope you are well. Have missed you! Sending you warm blessings!

Anyone who has ever loved a pet will feel this pull their emotional heart strings as in sympathy, they are rejoined with their own feelings of loss. Very well written, Michael. My 12 yr old Siamese is right by me, I love him so much, give thanks he is healthy but KNOW the inevitable is always getting closer. I also know the years of love have been more than worth the sad to come. Great poem. Now, where are you? I pray all is well and even better in your life. Come back. CayCay

I know this feeling all too well. It's also difficult finding a new home for a dog you love. I had to do this recently because my d daughter has fallen in hard times. Her foolish husband lost everything of financial value to them. She is moving in with three young adults and one is allergic to our dog Lucy. It killed me to give her up. I hope she is ok now. Our wonderful Aussie Snickers died five years ago. He was so sweet. My condolences on the loss of Daisy.

Hi Michael, this is such a wonderful tribute to Daisy. It is strange how they so quickly become a part of the family. They are no longer dogs as such for they are family members and they act as such, always wanting to please. Daisy shall ever be remembered and loved by all who knew her. "Go unto thy paradise on wings of love and may the angel's herald the coming of God's brightest star." She shall know peace beyond the veil and she shall be waiting for you all. Your friend always.....Mike.

This is a beautiful tribute to Daisy, Michael. You are a dear friend to write this poem for your friends, I'm sure it has helped to have such compassion in your gift of writing such a beautiful piece for them. It hurts to lose a beloved pet. My thirteen-year-old dog passed away in December. I've written poems of him but not posted on site. I too believe he is in heaven, and that is such a precious hope for us grieving pet parents. Your friends must be truly blessed with this precious gem.

I thank you my friend for your kind words. I was surprised when Maria sent me the music and song to my Lyrics. She is creating the video as a gift for her daughter Lara and her son Jackie who is really taking the loss hard. I was amazed at how quickly Maria created this beautiful sounding Tribute. It was a real tear maker when I heard it. She has an ear for music and the Gentlemans voice singing was full of empathy and love in the song. She did two versions of the song the original version I Love the second more Rock version she is presenting to Lara to choose from the two. I hope Maria's and Ron's video can help give them closure and support in their grieving to always remember Daisy by. Thank You for your support my friend I am sure Maria and Ron will greatly appreciate it Gershon. God bless you...

Daisy was not my dog it was Lara's. Maria to my surprise, did a song for Daisy and send it to me. It left me and my wife in tears. She made the song for the family but especially for Lara and her son Jackie. She is also doing a video and has honored me of using my lyrics combined with hers. I promise that whoever sees and experiences her video have tissue because the music was so tender and emotional. I hope your heart heals Darlene hugs to you my Dear... and your comment we all appreciate.

Dearest Maria, Ron and family. I just wanted to let you all know especially your daughter that Daisy had a loving family, that loved her so much, and she was a fortunate Gal to experience that. She was well taken care of, and more importantly she was loved by the family especially your Daughter. I am sorry for the tears, but I am happy for the smiles. Maria I am so touched by your comment and thank all of you for allowing me to share my love and affection for Daisy as I thought the family and especially your daughter treated her. I pray and hope that through time your hearts can gradually heal.
