Daisies

I could patch the holes in your clothes
If you ever let me that close
Sew daisies into every seam
That tore before meeting me
Make them prettier than you've ever known

I could tend to the gardens you've grown
Aspiring to be your favorite rose
I'll blend into your scenery
Content am I, and evergreen
If only to be part of your home
