Daily Routine-ITQ
Before the day turned into night,
Before I could switch off the light,
I had to change my house's plight -
Clear up things and make it look right.
Looked at my kitchen - what a mess!
Stains in places hard to access;
Cleaned it all with a good hard press
And then the stove shone with finesse.
The other rooms looked a nightmare -
Books, clothes, toys, scattered everywhere;
Replaced them back to where they were
And set back cushions on the chair.
Now, my tired bones need rest, I say -
Until the night turns into day.
