Quote-""Fair daffodils, we weep to see
You haste away so soon:
As yet the early-rising sun
Has not attained his noon." ~ Robert Herrick
Daffodils, you brave the cold,
First to welcome the spring with whispering trumpet,
I wonder who will kiss you first, bees, hummingbird, or me.
We are two, but one in soul, you and I.
We feel the bondage of love here,
I can offer you to my sweetheart, or to the almighty God,
Only birds and bees can savor the sweet nectar,
Your bell smilingly offers the sweetness to one who desires.
In dawn's early light, you shine with golden heads,
You dance on slender stems in breezy, springtime splendor.
In the nighttime stars will be watching us,
and we will show them the radiant star on the ground.
