lovely haiku on the first flower of spring - at least one of the first. Round our part of S. Indiana, we are enjoying their beauty daily and they crop up in some unusual unexpected places on their own. Neat pic to support your message.

Daffodils are the prelude to spring, I always feel uplifted when I see them filling up lawns and meadows, this is a lovely tribute to them, and congratulations on the contest placement!

Thanks for sharing your childhood memory of daffodils, Paula: I lived in the tropics most of my life so when we moved to a more temperate climate we really enjoyed our first experiences of spring and all the gorgeous blooming plants. SuZ
