Dad's Peace
I had a dream that I was performing at an open mic. Where Dad was speaking on the same show and was his poem.
On my death bed I prayed and I cry
And when you visited me I heard ur prayers and ur cries
But now.....
That I lay before you an empty shell
Praying for Heaven after living in hell
For so many years in my life time
I fought 3 wars........
The Vietnam War
The Marriage War
And The Drug War
And I've defeated them all but nothing can bring me
Back from this fall so even in this sad moment
I am very happy I'm at peace
And I'm standing at heavens doors
With an angel name Debbie
So, Boys I want you remember
To never allow anyone
To come in between you
Keep the close bond
That you all have
Because that's the way
I've raised you
R.I.P. Dad
