Daddy's Friend

My daughter, about age three at the time, and I were home alone.
I was just stepping out of the shower when she said to me
"Look, there's Daddy's friend". I screamed and grabbed for a towel.
I said where? as I saw no one. She pointed up toward the wall,
And there was a large Gecko. I began laughing hysterically.
She sure got me with that declaration! My husband had told her
That Gecko's were friendly, they eat bugs, and are Daddy's friend!

That is so cool and funny. I look around around garden and house in Johannesburg and there are so many geckos and lizards. And yes, they are friends. Many wishes, Kai

this is SO cute. Kids say the darndest things. Remember that show? Something only us oldies would remember. Watching Voice the other night, blake shelton made mention how a singer sounded like Tiny Tim, and then Kelly Clarkson said "What? How does he look like the guy from Scrooge story?" That really cracked me up!

LOL! That was a funny one! My granddaughter used to hide in my bedroom and pop out at me so I always wore a towel coming out of the bathroom.

Omg you’re hilarious. I laughed out loud reading this piece. For some strange reason when you press the happy face emoji it shows question marks on this site. I forget at times that I have to use the colon and bracket to indicate a smiling face. You write great humor. I loved it.
