Daddy Racoon

A racoon once saw a stray kitten He was very smitten Decided to adopt it And made for it a small pit He brought her some nuts But the kitty had no guts Flustered he looked here and there The kitten’s hunger he couldn’t bear Finally he carried her in his arms Went to look for momma cat on nearby farms But the kitty had adopted him And hopped behind him on tiny limbs Daddy racoon she’d meow The racoon would gallantly bow Together they lived happily on crisps Nature proud of this little friendship
