Daddy
You are my loving daddy,
Not as perfect as what it said by many,
But you are the best for me,
My life is your greatest gift, you see?
Papa, Daddy, Tatay, oh so many!
Names they called you in our country,
You are a symbol of strength and discipline,
Given by God to guide me if I’m in great pain.
You hold me in your arms lovingly,
Your gaze tells me that I am so lovely,
I am your sweet and adorable daughter,
Who will love you back forever.
Daddy, I love you, oh my daddy,
My life is meaningful everyday,
Thank you for your care and love,
You are my guardian given by God.
Note: I wrote this poem on my Father's Birthday while going to work.
This is my gift to him.
