Cyrano de Bergerac
Cyrano de Bergerac
entered a race
not fleet of foot
but hoping to place
tho' quick off the mark
the competition so tough
kept him on his toes
when the going got rough
yet setting the pace
he won by a nose...
the schnozz on his face
With apologies to Edmond Rostand (1868 – 1918)
