Cynrosa

Cynrosa is a delight with Latin flair With a flourish she rests in a satin chair Her words pounce playfully from her lips In between indulging red wine sips Her eyes are like smoky topaz And she sways to the sound of jazz Cool and divine she takes my hand With nary a demand In her words the sky is full of diamonds Watched mournfully by wolves in the highlands She wants to reach out and take them all I'll just have to be here should she fall Cynrosa, Cynrosa give me one last dance For when the sun rises I shan't have another chance Cynrosa exists only in my imagination But she is the heart of my jubilation

Your imagination must be a cozy landscape with diamonds in the sky, and luscious velvet couches amidst whirling dervish-like faeries. Because the entire poem is so romantic, it puts the reader immediately into high ROMANCE mode. Well done, Chris. WELL written and I you should be thrilled with the last two lines. Remarkably written.
