Curtains
Setting : A girl in flowing attire sitting on a rock
by the placid bay.
Characters :
1.Wife (W) : Dressed in blue and white robe,
smile flashing on the face encased by cascading hair.
2.Husband (H) : Surprised look in his enchanted eyes,
not in the scene.
Dialogue :
W : I’m waiting for so long, you find me far away.
H : I’m amazed you’re sitting on a rock by the bay.
W : In my last act in the ballet of fairy tale,
my dress slipped, draped in curtains I ran like gale.
H : So, you found this tranquil cove
to rise from the mythical realm that drove.
W: Entranced by the role I play, I entice you, prince.
H : You’ve become my mermaid queen ever since.
Epilogue : She might have been inspired by The Little
Mermaid of Copenhagen.
