Cry From a Storm
Clouds. Dark and mysterious
Big and Booming
Taking the shapes of monsters
But the clouds are just the children
Trying to cower closer
To Earth where things might be right
Because up in the sky
The thunder is no more
Then footsteps of the clouds running
And they go as fast as they can
But they are no match,
For the crack of the whip
Lighting up everything
Into a creepy haunting light
The childlike clouds yelp in pain
And slowly tears begin to form
But those poor children
Must keep running
There feet thundering...
But just barely getting slapped
By the cold hard whip
But finally...
After many a cracks of the whip
And cold hard tears wept
The sun, all powerful
Puts an end to the madness
Setting free the children
And scaring away the harsh whip
Light sheds through, bringing warmth to the world
And hope to any that was lost...
