Crowning Act
The bride in abeyance
Since the crowning act was done
But in eternal ignorance
Reflected sight with beasts and sun
And so the atom split
The rib brought recognition; failed
Though to spark and lit
The silhouette behind the flimsy veil.
Image to image faced
The jubilant cry of dim-lighted man
And passion never traced
Beyond the deisre, will no understand
Love makes all things one
Christ the man, God in man as unity
Bride where the church began
Mankind as church, the bridal mystery
Until the consummation
Second coming and the rapture of wisdom
Desire in sublimation
The temple untented in the new kingdom
O this ejaculated news
The ****** of Eden explored and requited
Love waits for love to choose
Surrender like a gospel compelled and excited.
