Sunrise, a crow caws. Harbinger of death, "Murder!", It cries at dead leaves.

The middle line imparts so much of beauty to your haiku. Who gave crows the collective noun "murder". So very apt.

Dear Crystol, your haiku is eerie and full of atmospheric vibes of stillness, veiled light and the mystery of what the new day holds as the "crow caws". Your golden pen captures the mournful moment beautifully. I do enjoy the cawing of crows though.. hehe! Warmest wishes.. ~Susan

Hello Crystol Woods, I do not like the crows. I find them to be very loud in the early morning when in a deep sleep. They caw so loudly waking me up. Enjoy your evening my friend. /Darlene/
