Crossroads Ii
(Where Decisions are made)
Oh! Give one a day
when to climb and wander
within a righteous mind,
tend to a troubled world
that makes complete
a celestial recourse.
An earth with all the nostalgia one can muster,
reproduced from out of the holy book, coerced daily
like some perpetual habit served up as vintage wine.
To be reconciled
With one’s inner self,
the body here now
at four lanes end
from another time,
reliving every
monochrome
imprint, brought
to a life that dwells
on repetition, yet
reprehensively
lessons unheeded.
