Crossroads

He closed his eyes to cast away the peril of his new found truth. From the greyness within he beholds the clouds mischievously rolling by, in the gloom he espies a lonely man consumed in the confusion that initiates the conflict between his celestial light, and the obscurity of life’s abyss. This mortal, now shackled to the perpetual script called destiny, which way his sanity to take him he really does not know! Epilogue Gentle voice sedates me Surgeon’s choice to set me free anticipation within the room participation in sunlight or gloom. © Harry J Horsman 2010 “Dressing removed, life approved in glorious living colour!”

You must truly have been on the "edge" undergoing this surgery, Harry. I can't imagine life without the ability to see and am so happy your surgery allowed you to continue experiencing life "in glorious living colour!" Great entry for John's contest and I wish you success! Love, Carolyn
