Crossing Troubled Waters

Beneath my bridge the troubled waters surged with white caps brazen under dark gray skies and baptized in the waters I was purged as “scales of blindness” dropped from off my eyes. 10/16/20 taken from Viaduct of Faith, written 5/11/20 for Greg Barden's Rithimus Divisa 10 Poetry Contest

Janis, I liked the reference to scales falling from the eyes of Saul in his conversion. That paints a big allusion for a short excerpt. Also, the baptism in the troubled waters. A powerful write of faith. Your rhythm is spot on. Congrats for your win today, my friend ~ John
