Crossing the Creek

I crossed the rowdy stream
Jumping from stone to stone
A small outdoor adventure
Can I make it across alone?

Water rushing round my feet
My arms flailing to and fro
Finally safe on the other side
Dang! Now back I have to go....

Very interesting metaphoric value, dear LNC. It's hard to "make it across alone," isn't it? The struggle never ends. Congratulations on your success in Rick's contest! Love, Carolyn
