Crimson Skies
*Fiction
Crimson skies are all I can see
The horizon swallows you from me
Disappearing in the twilight
Answers are hidden in the night
Was the light too bright for you?
A tunnel too long to walk through?
Maybe, I know too much
What you want, you cannot touch
You’d rather have a heart bleed
To drown a growing seed
Reasons justified, all your own
So, the truth will never be known
Crimson Skies, crimson skies,
Spread from so many goodbyes
Only you forgot the moon will shine
And the light of night, will be mine
