Credit Or Debit

When it's not right the clerk gripes
But now cards have chips and mag stripes
To swype or insert
If done wrong it can hurt
Like partners who don't know their pipes

Yup, some clerks do get a bit annoyed at times :) I thank you for reading my "The Mist From The Shadows. There's a movie I like called House of Fog And Sand with Ben Kingsley, I wrote a poem a few months after watching called MY Son.

I find it remarkable that you can use the artistic expressions that you are exposed to that spark your creativity. Credit cards--Ugh. Someone just charged a plane ticket from somewhere in Europe to Ukraine on mine so I had to cancel it. Fortunately, I'm not responsible.

Obscenely funny... You know, there's some talk of getting rid of 'physical money' altogether in Europe...

I know a person who bought seven pocket books on a shopping spree. In order to get them home she placed them one inside the other so that it appeared to her husband she had only purchased one. There is a definite high to be had through spending!!!

Duke, oh master of limericks, those darn credit cards are dangerous, at least debit cards are real money being depleted from your bank account over and over and over...

Oh my, yes. So true. This was weird, however. I got this idea when I couldn't get the card into the slot. The machine had some kind of an appendage to keep the card from being bent, and I had never seen that before. So naturally, my mind went directly into the basement. BTW, you are such a talented poet. Your ideas always stick to me like the bricks that make you invisible. Your words are immortal.
