Crayola's Sunny Child
Crayola’s sunny child, I’m Yellow.
Take me from the box and I’ll
giggle like a lemon Jello-O.
That is just the Yellow style.
Press me gently and I will
give hue to butterflies and sun.
I’ll brighten up the daffodil,
for I am light and joy and fun.
Later, let’s do happy faces.
Use my friend “Black” for a while.
First he colors eyes, then traces
on each happy face a smile!
With Black’s help, a bumblebee
is suitable for me to do.
But never would I color sea
because I’m simply never blue!
I’ll put a moon’s glow to dark night
because I am so mellow.
I’m honey blonde and pure delight.
Crayola’s sunny child, I’m Yellow.
