crawling sensation

    is there a little premeditation ~ to scratch an irritation 

    or a bit of an itch ~ to tackle a rash without hesitation 

    said a flea to a hive ~ it’s only my lousy interpretation

LOL, David…And, on top of the actual physical reality of what this poem presents, i found it a super metaphor for the other life problems life anticipating that the roof will soon need replacing, or i sense i need to have “The Tallk” with my pre -teen, or I feel a lump in my old dog’s belly, OR a dangerous missle is launched oversea…

Why is it the "itch" is always in the middle of one's back and you can't find the back scratcher? I like the set up of the poem - the contrasts and the little bit of naughtiness! Just plain fun, David! Cheers and blessings!
