Cravings In Summer

While candles tease with an enraptured need,
two figures slither as midnight exalts
an urge to imbue passion, they concede--
to rhapsody of lark which never halts
a slow-burn desire when waxed limbs  entwine ;
opening caves of souls… fluid balm drips
upon thrilled gasps, long no more to decline
summer’s heat, dizzy like kiln of fired lips:
Fulfilling magic spells in glorious tints
such appetite roams to covet a lair
till peaks of delight ease long hours’ imprints
caressing glides of their flamed love affair.

Blitheness twirls, swirls around an earnest noon--
Relishing the potion of honeymoon.
