Covid-19 Poem Take2: 10 Syllable Lines
COVID-19 or LOVE IN A TIME OF CORONA (Take 2)
I
Love in a time of Corona is best
Expressed, all tested, by a bonded pair
We have time on our hands, blest time to rest!
(Rest can't be overdone, nor sex either)
II
Love in a time of Corona's wisest
In your own homes - not in exotic places
Keep it tame, keep it safe (Humble? you ask -
"There will be time enough for pacesetters.")
III
Love in a time of Corona will end - then
Will you give thanks for quasi-retirement?
We are blest with late love, Christian even
(Caring, sharing PPE equipment)
IV
When we pass the test of prayer, rest, thanks
Will we kick Corona with "love borders"?
Having prayed for foes and those different?
This "REST" helped me forgive "past" professors.

**NOTE: "Rest" has the Biblical connotation of Sabbath Rest,
when God shows He has provided for us even when we do
not work on the day He ordained for rest and worship.
