Courageous Resilience

Like so many of my colleagues,
I have finally started "Community Resilience Reader"
edited by Daniel Lerch
of the Post Carbon Institute.

So far I would not compare "Reader" favorably
with publications available from Permaculture Designers
planting and harvesting polycultural slow-grown outcomes
about how to,
and why bother to,
resiliently ReGenerate.

But, I do share the Institute's interest
in Systems Thinking,
especially BiLateral Systems Thinking,

Which seems to sweep in Positive Psychology
and Game Theory
and perhaps something like EarthSoul Group Theory,

With its holonic and fractal
and dipolar nondual
dualities,
its competing nomials
acting relationally as cooperative-competitive binomials,
its line and plane geosystemic developing polypaths
dynamically spiraling 4-dimensional
raveling and unraveling
temporal octave polyphonics
of light as color
and harmonic scaled sound,

DNA of EarthSoul Grace
as also karmic integrity
of sacred ecological gratitude.

I was struck by the last of six essential characteristics
of Resilient Communities,
and Families
and even Resilient WiseElders,
regardless of synergetic Age,
Time
WisdomWay
Truth
Life.

The word-choice in the Resilience Reader
is "courage."
Courage is necessary,
although not sufficient,
for building and maintaining Resilience.

I agree.
But I believe this choice misses
a required prerequisite practice
to discern differences between Courage
and Foolishly Naïve.

As Daniel Lerch writes
why sustained resilience requires courage,
he seems to most acutely speak
of secular-sacred climaxing,
maturing,
Integrity.

The big Four climate issues:
energy
economics
ecology and
equity
are each Hugely global,
planetary

With devastating consequences for future generations
of at least most Species
if we continue lack of sufficient cooperative courage
to successfully address all Four
within resilience-growing communities
of mutual cooperation.

But,
collaboration is easier
where integrity of mind and body
with EarthSoul
are integratively practiced--
calling for synergetic cooperation
of individual Egos
with extended family economics
and equitable ecological,
positively integrating,
renewable energy.

Sticking with this Resilient Community vocation
requires courage
of growing integrity
rooted in organic cooperativity
of WinWin E-squared thinking,
four-season developments
of deep regenerative learning
and then speaking,
voicing together
and then acting within secular-sacred integrity
of purpose
and meaning,
EarthSoul positive intention.

It takes grace and courage
of integrity
to work cooperatively
with multicultural
polyculturing outcome-oriented people.

It requires grace,
or karma, if you prefer,
of integrity
to succeed
growing synergetic
by fading pathologic
systemic competing cooperative climate issues.

It does require 4-faced courage
of ecological economics
as equitable energy co-investment
born of experiencing sacred integrity,
secular synergy,
acclimated by and
to and
with secular-sacred bilateral consciousness.

We courageously expect Left with Right mindbody integrity
of ourselves
and those we love
by inviting synergies required
to co-invest in transformations,
in multicultural revolutions
of cooperative BothAnd
more than competitive EitherOr thinking,
deductive-reductive dominant,

Continuing to wrap
and layer courage
of integrating systems,
integration of Courageous Community Resilience,
Ego-courage of Yang,
Eco-integrity for EarthSoul Yin--
WinWin
SecularYang with SacredYin,
rather than without.
