~Polk stalks sliced, rolled in flour fried
   Refried Pinto beans
   Fresh Polk leaves rolled in eggs fried
   Buttermilk, cornbread
   One large Green onion 
   Apple pie
   Yum!

gosh, a food one. how did I ever miss it? So john, what are polk stalks? And you eat a large green onion, raw? Or inside this polk leaf?? Very interesting one! Luv, Andrea
