Could I Ever

How could I ever happy be, my divine Father,

When

Paved life’s way is, with the suffering of Man?

Now, that's a rather big question...how do our finite minds rectify such suffering?

We rectify it in the degree we aproach the divine! Matthew, 5:48 tells us to be perfect as our father in heaven is perfect. Thank you for taking the time to visit and comment. God bless your already blessed soul, dear MLK!

A deep happiness awaits but until that time may we hear the suffering, cross the road, lift up our brothers and sisters in our arms, wipe away the tears, bandage the wounds, feed the soul and love generosity. . . for your words are powerful dear brother, 7 fav

Demetrios, you replied to Dorian, that it is difficult to be happy for he cannot overlook the unhappiness of others, words very well described. Even our sleep is disturbed from the worries of others; it isn’t good for us to ponder over their wellbeing because it destroys us. A tender heart, a gift from our Dear Lord, to be there for those in need. Blessings Sir

Thank you my friend, Eve, for visiting and commenting in such a constructive way! Our happiness might be diminished in the degree we care for others but it is multiplied in the eyes of our Lord for we do His work! God bless you!

I have enjoyed reading the conversation this piece has generated. I believe a measure of happiness comes from allowing God to use the gifts he has so generously provided us. He has gifted you a loving heart and I am sure it gives Him much pleasure.

Dear Eileen, thank you so much for the lovely thoughts! God, was here before us and gave life to us! The alleviation of the suffering of others is a God-loving deed and can be a source of happiness, especially when we, as you say, are able to lead our fellow humans to Him but for this to happen we have to find our way to Him, first! I appreciate your visit and comment very much, my dear friend!
