Could Have Done It All
Listen to poem:
Nostalgia sets in as I wonder
Whatever happened to you
Already a star in grade eight
So edgy, a trendsetter
Destined for great things
The big screen, the arts, the world
You could have done anything
You could have done it all
You had flair while the rest of us
Could scarcely pull off a top and a pair of jeans
Hopefully you lived your dream
Whatever it may have been
And had an amazing life
Everyone of us were behind you
You left your mark on us
And we still remember
How awesome you were
Though we lost touch
Some fifty some years ago
