Cosmos in Her Gaze

Take all the wonders of the world away— Where sapphire oceans kiss the shore; Where peaks pierce clouds and soar; Where starlight dances with moonlit grace... Yet I seek nothing more, For nature's grandeur pales— Before the sight I treasure most: A universe of warmth and light, That sparkles, gleams, and glows... The cosmos captured in her eyes. -

Thanks so much! I love how you picked up on that theme. I also agree - the classic poets knew what they were talking about when they compared women to stars and celestial wonders, didn't they? :)
