Cornbread and Grits

Dead folks in my hood.
I just watch Netflix and keep
my shades down.
Hoping I don't get killed.

I pray to the Lord!
And in the dark night, 
bullets fly past my window.
Kinda makes me frown!

I have a friend living in the worst hood, she's convinced white folks sit about talking about killing blacks. There is no undoing what's in her head. Whites are evil. Yet, she eats far better than I do in a home with latest devices and appliances. Buys more clothes than I do and believes segregation still exists, congrats to the D Party. You have poisioned my friends life forever. Oh, it is an American tragedy. The media belongs behind bars. Panagiota.
