Convoy of Hope

Governments have been intent on 
eradicating our rights one by one
Backing us in a corner with countless 
threats with nowhere to run 

Under the disguise of an experimental vaccine
that has not been proven to be safe
Mandating it, thus taking away our choice 
leaves us all feeling the chafe

Canadian truckers decided to take a stand for freedom and created a freedom convoy 
Which the government, Big Pharma
and the mainstream media are trying to destroy 

At stake is our freedom of choice, our  livelihoods
and the spirit of mankind
Totalitarian society will become a reality 
if the masses remain blind 

To Ottawa the truckers made their long trek
asking all mandates to be dropped 
Reuniting humanity worldwide by the millions
with unity that can not be stopped 

Peaceful demonstrations fueled by hope, 
awareness and an outpouring of love
That our freedoms will be rightly restored
with the grace of God above

Duke Beaufort February 29, 2024 at 8:35 AM Cecilia, as an aside, we were in Canada over Thanksgiving 2023 and loved visiting. Liberty is a complex topic and we hate to see government forcing things on the citizenry. There were a lot of difficult choices made due to Covid and a lot of people ended up dying from the disease. I can understand your angst. I do believe the mandates have been removed now and hope the government did what was in the best interest of all. People will have different opinions for sure.

Love your wisdom and courage to write what people in the know really know of what is taking place the others are blind to see and unfortunately are being manipulated by the media which is controlled by the NewWorld Order.

Our rights and freedoms stripped from us for no scientific or medical reason. Covid is all about the great reset - about centralised government, power and control and money. I fear for our kids. Freedom of speech and freedom of the press are long gone. Freedom of religion is barely alive... I know not all Canadians approve but I hope most do. if I were in Canada, I'd be honking like the dickens. i even hear CA is going to do this. Finland is doing it. But Canada is definitely free, a mostly white male convoy can set up camp on parliament hill and present a manifesto to dissolve the government and the police are too afraid to do anything. Brings to mind all the doctors who handed out thalidomide to all those expecting mothers telling them it was safe when they new it was not, just for greed. There is no turning back from that.
