Conversation with the Lord

Dear child, breathe in; breathe out again.
Hear my heartbeat, without complaint.
With my perfection, you are a saint.
   Dear Lord, I hold your hand; its pierce.

Weak child, you’re strong; your tears I dry.
Hear my promises, abide by;
With tongues adulation and sigh.
See, with Judah’s lion, you’re fierce.

   Dear lamb, your red wool, white as snow.
   Your eyes of fire and Spirit’s glow.
   I’ll follow, wherever you go.
See me child, seated on High.

   Led through the shadows, not afraid.
   Your every word, I’ve obeyed.
   Not perfectly, but covered, prayed.
Your soul is mine, you will not faint.

I've been me, missing in action again, but missing the site and dropping by for a visit, imagine my surprise when I read this poem, so filled with the Holy Spirit to my soul. I am trying not to burst into tears. This spoke straight to my heart. Beautiful. I miss you, and sorry I am always absent from site, but I think of you and others here. Someday, I wish to meet you on earth, but if not, dear sister, I hope when our lives spring anew, to meet you then :) Hugs to you!! <3

You are so sweet, dear Bj! I prayed and God was there and this came out…by His Spirit, he leads us, oft without words, but sometimes in a spectacular way. God bless you and watch over you!

Brilliant poem! "I'll walk with God" One of Lanza's greatest use of his voice. Every breath, no matter the source, a grace of God. Every heartbeat a gentle thump of blessed creation. Christ's presence in Light is around you, goes before no matter the seeming darkness obscuring a new path chosen for us for growth. Faith is immortality.
