Control Freak

no life you want mine
never to feel your self-harm
try and steal my smile
facial features black blue
you can’t steal away my glow.

yes, some do suck the life out of one, if we are not perceptive. Jesus told His disciples" Watch and pray for the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. Flesh seeks its own control of the universe

Dearest Harry, No- one is able to take from you what is the most important - the inner you that glows with strength and humanity. Bullies function off low self -esteem, and want to pull others down to their own level of self harm. I hope you are staying strong! Great poem! Warm regards, ~~Aqua M~~

Absorbing someone's energy, willing or unwillingly and controlling it is abusive...you must resist, besides they're not getting your glow...Nice one Harry
