Contemplation

Words never spoken
Hanging there now in
Contemplation
Frozen forever
Without hesitation

Bruised egos, broken hearts
Once two lovers
Sadly and selfishly
Now and forever
Slowly drifting apart

Both longing for something
Desperately searching their souls
Not knowing precisely
What an uncertain furture
It may or may never hold

Stuck in limbo patteren
Teetering back and forth
Trying frantically to decide
Do we hold together the pieces
Or do we mourn this love once alive
